Honda Performance Chips Installation Instructions

1. Loosen the nuts that maintain the detrimental and constructive battery cables with a socket wrench then disconnect the cables. You might want a socket wrench extender if you cannot reach the nuts. Find the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS). This element is on the air tube in front of the throttle body and behind the air box. Disconnect the IATS. If this component is shared with the mass air movement sensor, discover the mass air flow sensor and remove the positive and damaging wires that handle the IATS.
2. Disconnect the battery whereas the harness is plugged in. The one purpose to unplug the harness is in case you are testing its wires to determine which of them are optimistic and negative. Check the voltage while the battery continues to be connected. Then remove the battery once you determine the voltage.
3. Plug the performance chip into the newly uncovered holes within the mass air stream sensor. Fasten the wires in place with silicone or tape. Reconnect the battery. Begin the motor and maintain it at 2,000 RPM for approximately 30 to forty five seconds. The Honda’s laptop will reprogram the ECU. Wait 5 to 10 minutes before driving the vehicle.
